Step By Step: How To Measure
1. You'll need a full-length mirror, a soft measuring tape, and ideally a friend to do the measuring. If possible, wear the shapewear and shoes you'll pair with your gown and wear on the day please ensure you are also wearing a bra, this won’t be necessary on the day of your event but it allows your bust to sit up where you would ideally want, in your garment (no padded bras here)
2. If you are doing this alone, position yourself diagonally in front of the mirror to be sure the tape is level. This is key for accurate measurements. If you are getting a helping hand just make sure you and your helper take a step back to ensure the tape measure is level all the way around you
3. Wrap the measuring tape from back to front so you can easily read the numbers.
4. When measuring, make sure the tape is flat against your body for a tight reading. Don't pull too tightly. Also if you can get your loose measurements at this stage too that’s great you want approximately 1-2.5cm difference in your measurement readings. Don’t do them too slack, as this will skew the measurements to a much larger size that is necessary.

5. Follow along with the video to take measurements for your bust, waist, hip, and hollow to hem length
6. Once you've taken your measurements, send them to us in an email (incase the handwritten copy gets lost) with your full name, wedding date, style of gown and if there is any reason why these may change prior to your wear date. We can advise on the appropriate designers size chart and guide you around which sizes you are able to order from and which is our recommendation, based on your measurements and circumstances
7. For body hugging styles, we recommend taking the size that best matches your largest measurement (bust, waist, or hip). For A-line or ballgown styles, focus on your bust and waist
